The People Accelerator

Building a high-growth tech startup is extremely complicated and challenging. Most new founders start their journey without truly understanding what is necessary to be successful.

The People Accelerator gives you the ability to develop as a founder first. Then, you can focus on building your company.

We focus on your development as a founder first because businesses often fail because of gaps in the founders' experiences, backgrounds, abilities, and skills, not the industry, technology, or market.

How It Works

  1. In month one, each individual learns what startups are, how they differ from traditional businesses, how they are financed, how they are built, and how they grow.
  2. In month two, participants learn how to identify and validate a problem to ensure that it is real, has a large market, and is significant. By the end of month two, participants will have also formed teams from among their fellow participants.
  3. In month three, teams will learn to ideate on solutions they can take to market and will start the solution validation process.
  4. In month four, teams will begin building MVPs, building their pitch decks, learning how to identify and pitch investors, and preparing to launch and raise capital for their solution.
  5. At the end of month four, two teams are awarded $25,000 to launch their solutions.

The accelerator will be run entirely online. However, there will be a culminating event at the end of the accelerator in Philadelphia, PA, which we encourage participants to attend.

More about Coded by Ventures

Coded by Ventures (CBV) is a venture studio focused on building high-performing founders who build high-performing companies. CBV was founded by core members of the Coded by: and Plain Sight Capital teams and builds on the work of both organizations. From Coded by: we gained over a decade of experience successfully designing, building, implementing, and managing programs to teach skills ranging from software development and product management to early validation and startup fundamentals. From Plain Sight Capital, we gained the experience of investors meeting with early-stage founders day after day and built proprietary assessment frameworks that account for the unique nuances of early-stage companies.

CBV, a subsidiary of Coded by:, utilizes its continued partnership and connection with Coded by: and Plain Sight Capital to build and launch scalable high-growth tech startups. We build high-growth startups by focusing on building high-potential founders first.

Our founder development strategy centers around giving talented people who wouldn’t normally have access to the resources needed to launch high-growth startups access to rigorous educational programming, mentorship, advisors, resources, and capital.
