Propeller’s Impact Accelerator: Startup Track is designed for established business owners who are committed to growing businesses grounded in financial viability, social impact, racial equity, and a demonstrated commitment to the prosperity of our city and region.

Propeller supports entrepreneurs driving systemic change within our five focus areas: 1) Community Economic Development (CED), 2) Education, 3) Food, 4) Health, and 5) Water.

Propeller grows and supports entrepreneurs to tackle social and environmental disparities. Our vision is an inclusive and thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem in New Orleans that responds to community needs and creates the conditions for an equitable future.

Our work centers Black, native New Orleanians entrepreneurs and non-profit leaders who view their businesses as a catalyst for positive change and those who advance anti-racism initiatives. Within this framework is the understanding that improving access to markets and contract opportunities, creating jobs in historically Black neighborhoods, and championing Black entrepreneurship is an inherent form of anti-racism and racial equity advocacy.
