ASU Prep Microschool Entrepreneur Fellowship

If you have an innovative idea for a microschool focused on K–12 learners ASU Prep can help you get started. This year-long fellowship program will give you access to robust training, proven curriculum resources, teaching methodologies, and ongoing support.

What to Expect During your Time as a Fellow:

1. Startup Training: Coaching and support to determine your launch strategy and business model.
2. Marketing Support: Practical workshops to understand your target market and how to recruit families.
3. Space Design: Tours and inspiration of ASU Prep sites and coaching on how to design an amazing space to maximize student outcomes.
4. Fundraising Resources: Sharing of funding opportunities and current up-to-date resources on how to raise capital, philanthropic or otherwise, ESA opportunities, etc.
5. Financial Modeling: Designing a budget and revenue model to ensure your microschool is sustainable.

6. Pedagogy and Instructional Design: Training on how to use innovative teaching strategies and instructional design principles to create effective learning experiences.
7. Curriculum: Scope and sequence recommendations and consultation on which ASU Prep curriculum and other assets may be best suited for your learners.
8. Monitoring & Evaluation: Training and tools on how to conduct needs assessments and measure student progress.
9. Recruitment of Team: Templates, tips, and resources to help recruit teachers and build an amazing team.
10. Networking opportunities: Networking with other education entrepreneurs and experts in the field to create a community of practice around your work.
